The six-step loop behind every good build

This rhythm never changes; only the size of what you point it at grows. It's on your one-page reference card.

  1. Describe the outcome, not the implementation. You did this with 'turn this CSV into a spending dashboard.'
  2. Read the plan before the code. A wrong plan produces confident wrong code: catch it early.
  3. Let it draft, then skim the code for anything alarming.
  4. Run it on real input: your actual messy file, not a tidy imagined one.
  5. Report what broke, specifically: 'the totals ignore refunds' beats 'it's wrong.'
  6. Review, then keep it. Never ship code you haven't at least skimmed.
The one rule
Never ship code you haven't at least skimmed.
Checking code is more than skimming
Run the expected examples and inspect actual outputs. Test empty data, refunds, transfers and invalid rows. Before distributing the app, check browser errors and how it handles private data. A code skim alone is not a release gate.

This is one chapter from the full guide. Every step, prompt and working file unlocks on purchase.
